Foxtail Coffee Opening Monday, March 20th at The Dr. P. Philips YMCA!!!

In Dr. Phillips, we have virtually everything we need without leaving the area from schools and churches to golf, shopping and a smorgasbord of restaurants.  The one thing we don’t have is a community hub…

Well, The Dr. P. Phillips YMCA is fast becoming the hub for our community.  The Y not only provides countless exercise, swimming and youth sports options, but also offers the following to our community:

Food and school supply drives,

Togetherhood Educational Speaker Series,

Easter Egg Hunt,

Healthy Kids Day,

Fall Festival,

Holiday Event,

And most recently a weekly Farmers Market!

Now, the Dr. P. Phillips Y is absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Foxtail Coffee to open a franchise location “inside” the Dr. P. Phillips YMCA that will not only serve the Y’s membership, but also the Dr. Phillips community – it will be open to the public!

One of the best things about this partnership, aside from the delicious coffee, teas and treats, is the owners, Sarah and Matt Beck.  They are genuinely good people.

Matt and Sarah hail from Michigan where they were high school sweethearts.  Matt went to the Air Force Academy and served our country while acquiring several degrees in finance.  Sarah was a collegiate athlete in rowing and majored in Kinesiology focusing on health, wellness and personal training.

Their lifestyle aligns with the Y as they have always been engaged in their communities volunteering their time, talent and treasure with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Armed Forces Parades, community clean-up, and in various soup kitchens to feed those in need.  Additionally, Sarah joined the Dr. P. Phillips Advisory Board last year and sits on our Youth Development Committee.  Needless to say they lead a very active lifestyle…

Sarah and Matt with their two children, Grayson and Emmi, have not only chosen our community to call home, but they have invested in our community personally, philanthropically through volunteerism and professionally by creating jobs with their new business venture.

They have completely remodeled the space in the Dr. Phillips YMCA and it looks AMAZING!!!

Using the mobile app, you can order coffee to be ready after your work out or as you swing by the Y throughout the course of your day.

Also, there will be several mobile order parking spots in the small parking lot adjacent to Wallace Road where you can walk right in through the patio!!

And Matt and Sarah have already begun fostering relationships with local schools and churches and will be a regular fixture at the Dr. P. Phillips YMCA’s Farmer’s Market that occurs every Sunday from 900am – 100pm!

And did I mention that Sarah and Matt got engaged in a coffee shop and it’s always been a dream of theirs to open a shop of their own!

Foxtail Dr. Phillips will be my home for all business meetings. They will be opening their doors on Monday, March 20^th to our community so be sure to swing by, say hi and treat yourself to any of their delicious coffee, teas and treats!  Let’s show them our support…
