If you haven’t been to Winter Park, then you’re in for a treat. Also, one of the local gems with brick-paved streets there is a plethora of amenities in the downtown “central park” area including shopping, eclectic eateries and hometown events.
Just north of downtown Orlando, Winter Park is saturated with homes of all design styles though it tends to cater to the high end of the market… and you’ll certainly get your money’s worth with an investment in the area. The central park is riddled with greenery, statues and fountains where people gather to enjoy a nice day outside, the many festivals or shops that line Park Avenue. There is an abundance of culture and outdoor spaces with bodies of water intertwined in the many neighborhoods.
There is a train station that stops downtown as well as a golf country club, a private liberal arts college (Rollins College) as well as access to the local lakes. And if you’re a history buff, you’ll find a long and interesting history tied to this small town lined with numerous small parks and bike trails.
